Maybe this can be an option if you want to print a VERY limited edition for the Comic Con table.
Blurb
Lines and Colors
The article and some of the comments said that Lulu is cheaper and better for black and white while Blurb was better for color and is a bit more expensive. You can also dowload a layout program for mac or PC. From the examples it looks like a nice program.
I think I'll try this and see.

Hey Jeff,
Got a consumer report type of thing. Friend from work, Yongwoo, who has every reason to look for alternatives to LULU, thinks Blurb is a poor second to Lulu. Here's the back and forth we had today after your post to the blog..

You may already know about this Blurb thing. It’s said it might be better for color than LuLu

well, only if you get their hard cover .
all softcovers use the same printer as lulu and the quality is actually worse.
i dug around the forums for hours to find that out.
blurb is not fit for my needs, which is low cost color paperback books.
also, they stick a nasty blurb logo at the back page of your book and charge $15 or something to take it off. not very sportsmanlike.
please also mention that you can't submit a pdf like lulu and their book creator program is kinda wonky.
another thing is you can do real custom covers like lulu. it's about 90%custom with no custom spine design unless your spine is over a certain limit.
my book was under the limit and i would have had to resort to a solid color. really bad.
I'm still putting my book together... I've got a bunch of scanning to do... maybe I'll borrow my scanner from work for the weekend...
