I just noticed the 500k goal. Seems a little ambitious
Very sad news. I was re-tweeting what had already been posted by John Smedley and others at SOE in hopes that we can help out his family
Yes, he died Wednesday morning I think. Quite a shock. He was on SOE's Planetside 2 with me just before I was laid off, but I didn't have much contact with him.The 500K goal is probably just so it doesn't cap out.
So it's not like Kickstarter and you have to hit the goal to get the money.
I don't think so, but I'm just guessing.
Rick Randolph wrote to me that it was suicide. That's very sad. He was 47.
