Did a lot of sketches on free comic book day. And you fans of my podcast ability, did another one of those. The subject was the Pulps. I'll post a link to that in about a week.

My funniest moment, I had a batarang not completely done and I asked the kid ( boy about 5) to fill it in for me. Gave him a sharpy. His dad " was saying "Stay inside the line!" the kid just went all over and made a blob of it. We had a good laugh. I put the kid's initials on the "batarang."
A She Hulk and all the ones I mention on the Tumblr. I was whipping it out.

ReplyDeleteGuy requested "Winter Soldier" Get back the ref, figuring I'm doing good. Then someone says "Good Bucky."
I'm mortified. It's done and the kid is getting Bucky, not Winter Soldier. Then I learned...I'd better not ruin it for you.
Did a Guinn? , someone in a leather jacket from Walking Dead.
No dinosaurs. Did a Superman that was pretty iconic. Grr again.

ReplyDeleteI've seen some of these on yr Tumblr, El-wood, and they are SO GREAT!! THis is $$$ at a Con!! Do a few dozen before yr next OafCon, hang 'em on a board behind you, and watch the $$ pour in.
