Manga Studio, You magnificent bastard, I read your book!
I did all the panel work on 15 pages in about.... 2 hours. I'll dig up my script and drop in balloons tomorrow. Then the FUN part. Just the inking. I do love this program. Quite the re-birth occurring for my enthusiasm for doing comics.

ReplyDeleteInteresting that the Rawhide Kid's togs look very similar to the late 70s-early-80's Ghost Rider's riding leathers. I'm sure that's no coincidence.

ReplyDeleteKirby had a thing for large circular 'buttons' on costumes, didn't he? Certainly those discs created great contrast and were visually interesting without being too noisy. Very graphic and unique... part of his imprint and definition of the medium, I guess.

ReplyDeleteI've got a quick Stan Lee scenario sketched out. Now it's Kirby's turn. I used to buy Rawhide Kids. And The Two Gun Kid. That's Kirby growing up on the serials directly translated to paper.
