  3. Thanks Beata. The House is nice and warm.

But. I broke the Coffee pot this morning and had to hit the icy road to replace it.

Nothing says cold more than a big, empty, concrete parking lot with wind driven snow sticking in irregular, jaggy ice ribbons.

I really appreciated Los Angeles weather right then.

  6. White Christmas! It looks like they do some decent plowing there... do they salt the roads as well?

  7. Salt, sand, the rare plow.

  9. I was all set. Had a piece of gessoed illustration board with a drawing roughly in place.

I left a ton of expensive, but heavy and cumbersome, chemicals in Culver City. Silicone, latex, varnish, turp.

Now I have to piecemeal get my painting act back together.

  10. It's good to hear you're making the effort, Ellis. While you're waiting for the environment to become friendlier, here's a clip that will surely keep alive your itch to paint.

  11. Thanks Beata. That guy gets it. Emotion is the most important thing in a painting.
