He worked on the Olaf stuff but as you may know, he was removed from the team at the end. He's on the credits and has been reveling in the success of the Oscar etc.
Well he did go to another hush, hush, project. But he told me he still feels kind of outs on it. It may have been the way he was told or something. He didn't elaborate.
Jeff used a different name for the credits--"Jeffery (strange possibly fictitious? middle name that I've forgotten) Ranjo." Easy to miss. It's not the same name he uses on his other IMDB credits, and (therefore?) he doesn't show up at all in IMDB's full list of Frozen credits.
I had to watch the film TWICE to spot this different name in the credits--he's listed as a "story artist." First time thru we didn't see his name AT ALL, and Blair and I left the theater feeling sick...Ultimately, seeing his psuedonymous-esgue name credited as a generic story artist (and reading the Wikipedia's elision of his contribution) leaves one feeling a bit hollow....
But he sounds happy enough with things. So good on him!
I need a link. I assumed that Jeff worked on Frozen. Couldn't find him on IMDB.
ReplyDeleteNeed a link so I can check it out.
I miss Jeff's regular presence and postings on TAG. Wasn't it Jeff who started this blog? Tell him to drop in once in a while.
ReplyDeleteJeff gets an Oscar for running a team. Meaning he is way up there in honcho status. But doesn't appear on IMDB. What's the mystery?
ReplyDeleteI saw the FB page Beata. Some funny stuff.
ReplyDeleteThis is my version of FROZEN
ReplyDeleteHe hangs out on FB all the time. I have to tell him stuff here
ReplyDeleteYour version of Frozen has ALL KINDS of possibilities, Ellis. Looks very chilling.
ReplyDeleteNobody answered the question. What was Jeff's official title on FROZEN. And why can't I find him on IMDB.
ReplyDeleteHe was Story Artist
ReplyDeleteWas he primarily Olaf? My guess.
ReplyDeleteI still haven't seen it. I don't go see anything. I last saw Gravity at the theatre.
And I'm also guessing that special note should have been made this Tuesday because.....it was Jeff's Birthday?
Still no answer why he isn't on the IMDB. Is he using his code name?

ReplyDelete"Removed" from the team... to work on something else?

Thanks for the info Marty.
ReplyDeleteIt may be in the credit crawl. It's not on "full cast and crew"imdb
