Mostly sketches. Occasionally a painting. Nothing political other than caricatures reinforcing the truism "Politics is Show Business for Ugly People".

Taking an Oil Painting Class
Started an oil painting class today. Messy but fruitful. It's been a very long time since I dabbled in oils. Hoping for some progress in the next 6 weeks
Cool! Sounds like fun! BTW Jim, I tagged you on FB in a friend's post about a prospective 2D artist/Animator opportunity in Las Vegas. I figure you aren't too interested in moving, but I thought you might want to take a look at it anyway.
Jon Grande (which now that I think about it, Jon's name could have been one used for one of the aliens in Buckaroo Bonsai) is a guy who worked at PopCap while I was there. I don't know him that well but we are friends on FB and he posted this position there. Jon's a pretty nice guy, as far as I can tell.
It will help your digital to get better at traditional.
ReplyDeleteHope you take to it.
