Rick's MODOK WIP

I looked to the original Kirby drawings for inspiration.

  3. I don't know if you clicked that link Rick. I got my Dorothy Swift Lulu book. It looks great. The cover came out exceptional.

    And I just read and enjoyed it.

    Hope it gets some heat at the Emerald Con.

  4. I found it inspiring as well. Could visualize all the work you had done. The updates you showed us. Made it easy to visualize me digging in on a similar project.

  5. Cool, Ellis! I think what made it possible was doing fairly comprehensive thumbnails that I could blow up and ink from... I think it saved a lot of time to not do pencils between those steps.

  7. Yeah, more or less. I divide a regular sketchbook page into fourths and then I write the dialog on the opposite page.
