I finished that project......sigh!

Nothing to write home about but I got it done. I'll see if there will be follow on work. Not as happy as I would have liked to be with it but it paid the bills. Heres a tear sheet of the final concepts

  1. You know what this makes me think of? This is great art, don't get me wrong. Nice color and great read and good design.

What it reminds me of is some thing someone foisted onto me when I was working at Leland, when I first started in games. Maybe Steve High got me onto it. I had to do a couple of two state anims for a game you played as you worked out on a treadmill.

I think you were a firefighter trying to save babies from a burning building. It was copying the mechanic of "Crazy Climber."

If you rescued a baby, he drifted past the firefighter with his diaper ballooned open into a parachute.

I wish you better market penetration than my game.

  2. I didn't come up with any of this. This target game audience is 5 to 16 year olds with an emphasis on E-Learning to kids. I just got emails telling me what they were looking for and I did it. I haven't even seen the game. Just like most stuff I've ever worked on. Never seeing the end result. I wanted have input on the levels and whatnot. Nadda...just get a check and do the next batch.
